Lessons on love & ego.

You’ve always wanted to help the people you love. You thought that if you held on tightly enough, they’d stay safe and maybe that would mean you were doing love “right”. But love isn’t about keeping people the same, it’s about caring for them while they change, even when that change means you don’t fit in the same place anymore.

I know it feels scary to loosen your grip. It can make you wonder if letting someone go, or letting them grow means you weren’t enough to stay needed but that’s not true. That’s just ego trying to protect you from feeling replaced. Your worth is not tied to how much you’re needed, it’s in how freely you can love without needing to be the reason someone is okay.

You’ll learn that love grows stronger when it has room to breathe,
